Hi and welcome to my homepage!
The cattery prefix (N)Tonefjellet's was registered in 1994. My first birman was Lucifer av Ledsaak. Him I bought from Monica Ledsaak Aag. It was a bluepoint boy. He came to my home in January 1993. By that time I had spent over two years calling and asking around for a birman, until I finally got one for my own. So it was great luck when Monica finally told me that she had the cat for me. Then came Shan Thai's Tasja. A girl, also bluepoint, in the end of the same year. Lucifer got so ill that we decided to neuter him. He became both a Champion and a Premior. But when he was 5 years he became very sick. He was totally upeaten by cancer, so we had to put him to sleep! We bought a new male. (N)Adriexi's Captain Blue (Yassir among known). Him we were able to buy from Elisabeth Eide. Yassir and Tasja had some very lovely kittens together. Then Tasja was ill! At the vet there was proofed that she had a defect in her gullet which caused a pressure over so that she had got an inflammation in her brain. So she only became 6 years old. Yassir was neutered after our youngest son Richard was born. Yassir got jealous and started marking on the baby´s cushion. 3 nights we woke up from Yassir opening the door to the baby and putting his markings on his pad! Then there was the vet's next! And Yassir calmed down. My next male was S*Trinity's Loverboy! My first sealpoint birman. Him I bought from Marie Dalerstedt in Gothenburg, Sweden. And that was great luck! He has the headtype that I like. Short and broad. He's not only lovely to look at but also very kind. Then I got my first lilacpoint birman. His name was S*Trinity's Intermezzo. Him I got to buy from Siri Steen who cooperates with Marie with the S*Trinity's prefix. It was an absolutely fantastic birman in all matters. He just died far too early. He became 5 Years old. But, Intermezzo is father of Honky Tonk who I've kept from my own breeding. So I've still got a part of him with me. Now my birman stock has increased a bit, so now we have 7 birmans living with us. All our birmans except 2 come from the Trinity's cattery in Gothenburg, Sweden. As time goes I hope to get some nice offspring who I can keep from my own cattery. But, I'm in no hurry as we're sharing a lot of time cuddlying the ones we have. I haven't had too many litters during these years. 7 before I started naming them in alphabetical order. We had our first litter in 1995. And after that there have been approximately one litter per year. But now the kids (the 2-legged ones) are growing older, so I'm planning for more cats and more litters. |
